Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo

Born on December 2, 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model well known for her appearances in both TV shows and films. Brandt started her career with New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was in her role as Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress appeared in numerous television series in the last ten years including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt is the character Mazikeen on the show about urban fantasies Lucifer and starring Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was brought up in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved into Auckland New Zealand with her family during her teenage years. She began her career as a model when she appeared in commercials and print ads. Before becoming a famous model, she was employed as an retail salesperson as well as an expert in recruitment for the information technology industry. The first time she was featured, she landed her role in 2009 in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the role as Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021, she played Spartacus Blood and Sand as the slave girl Naevia. Her role as Naevia was recast in the Spartacus prequel Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She starred alongside the actor Craig Parker in three different show on television: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She began playing Mazikeen as a demon who hunts for bounty in the hit Netflix show Lucifer. The role is her most prominent yet. In the show, she is co-starring alongside Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro as well as D. B. Woodside.
